New Placeeeee

So we are ALLLMOST done moving. I still have to do some cleaning at the old place, as well as gather all of the stuff left there that is either going to goodwill, my moms for the garage sale this spring, or my step mom's consignment store. I will be SO relieved once I don't have to deal with that anymore! It was really nice to have a full week of being able to move instead of one day....because I honestly don't know how we would have done it all in one day. On the other hand, if we were forced to do it in one day, we wouldn't keep putting things off as well. All I gotta say is I had to move when I was pregnant with Axton, and now I'm moving pregnant this time around. What the heck! I never wanna move ever again until we buy a house!

On a more exciting note, last week we had our ultrasound and got to see our baby for the first time! With Axton I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 23 weeks, and 27 weeks. It made things so much more realistic to see the moving baby on the screen! At first she didn't think she would be able to find out the gender since the baby was in a weird position, but when it came down to it, we found out there is a little girl in there!!! I would have been SUPER surprised if she would have said its a boy because I had aaaaaaaaaalll girl instincts! Her name is going to be Zaidyn Marietta Kahl :) :) I am so excited to meet her! I am 20 weeks so already half way! I hope the second half goes by as fast as the first half did!!

Girl Scout Cookies? YES PLEASE

Girl Scout cookies are my absolute fav! I love when that time of the year comes around and I can order my brains out. I am limiting myself to 4 boxes only this year however. I don't have much room in my freezer :( I always get the thin mints and the Samoas, although when I lived in Milwaukee they called them Carmel Delights? Not sure about the name situation, but name shmame doesn't matter to me, they are just SO good. When I run out of thin mints, I fix my craving with the cobbler thin mint cookies..which taste very similar..but not as good as the reeeeeal thin mints! So tomorrow morning when cookies are in hand, consider me a VERY happy person ;)

Movin and Groovin

So it turns out that I LOOOOVE moving. <-- That is a very much sarcastic statement. I have moved all my stuff soooooooo much since my freshman year in college that I could care less to move ever again. I really really like the place we currently live in, but we decided that we need to downsize a bit, and make some sacrifices. We would like to be able to save money for our wedding, and with baby #2 coming, downsizing seemed to be the only way to be able to do that. The place we are moving is still 3 bedrooms, but it is one level instead of two, and has 1 bathroom instead of two, and one detached garage instead a 2 car attached garage. It might take some adjusting, but in the end it is what is best for us! Our lease wasn't up until June, but with the baby being due July, I really felt I wouldn't want to unpack a million boxes while being ridiculously huge? It has been quite the task finding someone to sublease, but we finally got things worked out. We even get first months rent free at the new place, so that will give us some extra money to get some things for the baby. We find out if the baby is a boy or a girl TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY! I can't believe it! Cody and I are so excited!! My pregnancy seems to just be flying by. A week from tomorrow is my birthday (not that it is relevant AT ALL), on the 23rd I am going to a Alexi Murdoch concert (LOVE HIM!) and we get the keys to our new place on the 21st! We get the keys to the new place a week before we have to be out of our old place. I think this will be really really nice. We don't have to hurry our butts off and move in one day. We can get all the little stuff moved first and save the big important stuff for last. Maybe this way we can manage for Cody not to have to take a day off of work. (Although I LOOOOVE when he doesn't work!) With everything going on this month, on top of packing all of our belonging...moving and settling in our new place...I think the next 2 months are going to fly by! Lots to do! I am just crossing my fingers that everything works out as planned and goes smoothly. :)

MOA

Today was a wonderful outing! My sister, Dexter, Rachel, Sammie, Jessie Walton, and I went to the Mall of America! Usually I am sooo not a fan of the Mall of America. It just is always so busy and its just so unnecessary to go to shop there when you can go to any regular mall and go to the same stores. We wanted a change of scenery, and just wanted some exercise. None of us really had any shopping we wanted to do, which was awesome! (I am a by myself kind of shopper. I am impatient and don't enjoy waiting for other people to try clothes on and browse, so I do myself and them a favor by shopping by myself.) I have not gone clothes shopping in probably 2 years but that is a different story. Anyways, we got TONS of exercise, and I even got to indulge in QDOBA! My favorite fast food joint ever! I went there seriously 3 times a week when I lived by Milwaukee, since they were everywhere and so delicious! They are NO where here except the Mall of America, so I definitely hit jackpot with that one. Watching Axton and Sammie play together is just so cute. Axton sees Sammie and his eyes just light up and he gets the biggest smile...but Sammie wants nothing to do with Axton. Its like, he's already after girls, but she's still in the ewwwwwwwwww boys cooties. She walks so fast, Axton can hardly keep up with her and once he does sneak up on her, she sees him and runs the other way, its hilarious! Anyways, I suck at keeping up with my blog and I have no idea why. I can find time to go on facebook everyday but not to once and awhile write a blog. So I'm going to make an effort to change that. (Even though I say that all the time).
